Meet our students and graduates Social Work & Social Policy
Sean McIntosh, Children & Young People in Conflict with the Law (PgCert)
The knowledge gained from this course will change the way you see young people, it will change the way you write about and assess them, it will change the way you champion their rights being upheld and see the difference framing this makes in how you work with other professionals

Lilian Muparuri, Social Work (MSW)
Since joining the MSW programme, I have learned to apply critical and reflective thinking to complex social issues. I have developed stronger communication and assessment skills, become more confident in working with diverse service users.
Leonard Wang, Health & Social Policy (MSc)
The MSc in Health & Social Policy provided a structured academic program to explore important health and social equity challenges that are often undertaught in medical education.
Sheva Leon, Child & Youth Care Studies (MSc)
I love that I am always learning alongside my students as a 鈥榝acilitator of knowledge鈥, rather than always the 鈥榮ubject expert鈥. I love challenging the students to question the status quo, myself, others, and- most importantly- question themselves.
Therese Simpson, Child & Youth Care Studies (MSc)
I particularly benefited from the weekly live sessions with the rest of the cohort. It was a very eclectic and diverse group, both from a professional as well as a cultural point of view. I found sharing views in debates over some of the issues relating to Child and Youth Care and sharing experiences with my classmates very enriching.
