Nino Shanshashvili, Data Science for Politics & Policymaking (MSc)
There was a strong practical component : we were constantly working with real datasets, and the course included both group and individual assignments. It was academically demanding, but in a very rewarding way, as it continuously pushed us to apply what we were learning in real-world contexts.
Claire Schmid, International Relations (MSc)
My aspiration is to work in an international policy setting such as the European Union and my postgraduate degree will serve as a strong foundation to pursue this path. The course deepened my understanding of intricate international policy dynamics and provided me with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities through engaging classroom discussions and real-world case studies.
Vasilii Allenov, Data Science for Politics & Policymaking (MSc)
The course has helped me gain exposure to various real-world applications of data science, from simple data handling to building complex machine learning models. Studying at 海角论坛 has affirmed my desire to utilise big data to make a positive impact in society and drive meaningful change.
Cyndia Green, International Relations (MSc)
I have obtained interviews and offers for a Social Researcher position within Washington DC and Policy Analyst positions across the US. This is specifically because of the experience I gained from the MSc and I could not be more grateful.
Connor Donaldson, International Relations (MSc)
The programme offered such a diverse workload which I really enjoyed. One week, you could be working to design a factsheet about a specific international organisation鈥檚 compliance and effectiveness. The next, you could be deep-diving how states have adapted theoretical frameworks into their foreign policy efforts.
